Fujiiso is located in misty mountains surrounded by greenery. Our hot springs inn lies in Matsugawa Gorge, a 100-m deep ravine surrounded by mountains on three sides.
 Guests can enjoy the charm of the deep mountain valleys from their room, the hot spring baths, and the lounge at any time, including wild cherry blossoms and new green leaves in spring, cicadas singing and dark greens in summer, moon views and autumn leaves in fall, and snowflakes and quiet mountains in winter.
 Our inn is a modern sukiya-style building made mostly of wood, and features Japanese-style rooms as well as Western-style rooms and other arrangements.
 In addition, our magnificent baths are filled with hot spring water that has been protected for over 400 years. It is fascinating to view the cherry blossoms fluttering through the gorge, the autumn leaves, or the silently falling snow while soaking in the hot springs.
 Local ingredients enliven the dishes in our morning and evening meals. We use Suko vegetables and fruits, Shinshu beef, local chicken, Saku fish, and Kijimadaira koshihikari rice. Depending on the season, wild vegetables, mushrooms or wild game add a splash of color to our cuisine.
