Kanamean Nishitomiya

Kyoto-shi, Kyoto
https://www.kanamean.co.jp

Kanamean Nishitomiya was established in 1873 in Kyoto, the capital of Japanese culture. Located near Nishiki Market in central Kyoto, our great location and long history allows our efforts to evolve daily while preserving time-honored traditions, which are consistent with our view that traditions represent a succession of innovations.
Our garden is carefully sculpted to reflect the beautiful seasonal scenery of Kyoto, and we change our Japanese-style kaiseki cuisine monthly to exhibit the flavors of each season. Our sommelier carefully selects our list of famous Japanese sake and wines from all over the world. The handcrafted pottery we use to present our cuisine are all genuine articles painstakingly chosen for optimal guest satisfaction.
There are only seven rooms in our inn, each with its own distinct charm that surprises and delights our guests. As the first inn in Kyoto member of Relais & Châteaux, we aim for the highest quality in each room and explore the depths of our creativity to bring pleasure and serenity to our guests.   Kanamean Nishitomiya is not only a simple ryokan, it represents the magnificent culture of Kyoto.
